Thermoformed Tray
Thermoformed Tray
The thermoformed tray is created using a process that involves heat and pressure to vacuum-form parts from an extruded (flat) sheet of plastic. In our automated process depicted here, the plastic is drawn from large rolls, heated to its softening temperature, and then shaped into the desired form using an aluminum mold. Subsequently, it is cut into individual containers, inspected, stacked, counted, boxed, and shipped.
